Jul. 15th, 2007 12:18 pmand the tradition lingers :(
It seems whenever we go camping we lose something special right before hand.
2 years ago before carrie went, we lost Mo.
Sandstorm, my 3 year old gerbil passed last night. :( We found him stiff in his tank this morning :(
While i am sad, i knew it would come soon. I mean the critter was 3 years old! (average life 2-4 years)
We got him as a baby, and he was so fun to have around :P He was the first one to escape ^^;; And many many times afterwords. StarryNite (his brother) wasnt nearly as daring as him!
I feel bad for Starry though :( he's had Sandstorm with him his whole life... and now he is all alone. Will have to give him extra special lovings when we get back.
We are leaving VERY soon for this trip. May you rest in peace beloved Sandstorm! You were definatly a cool gerb!
